honestly....next to nothing..........20 -50 pics........few e-mails.......but maimly the computer running system ......if that makes sense.

I have done a back up onto cd.....when i first got my comp. but the lads at work went on about these external thingemebobs.... Innocent

If you only need a small amount of space, then as Steve says.... a flash drive would suit you better mate thumbsup
