Computer buffs of the site.

Right guys and maybe gals........a mate of mine has said that i should get myself an external memory for my comp..........he reckons that there are plug and play one's out there that dont cost a fortune......but will save everything from your comp.

Any ideas......must be easy for me to use.......any info lads....

Yep, mines a 800 gig one and it just plugs in through the USB post, you open your files and right click them then save them to the external drive, simplez

how much....aint got much to save.....so only small needed....

As Steve says, get a good external harddrive They are quite cheap now days and are very user friendly

I have
2 x 1tb external drives
1 x 500gb external drive
2 x 1.5tb internal drives
2 x 1tb internal drives

Everything is mirrored so that if the worst happened, i would not lose any of my data

get a cheap flash drive off ebay ... keep it on your keyring... depends how important the files are

£40 for a 250g, if you've not much to save, why not try a USB drive for around £20?

Nope, just a drive, it save your swag and thats it

In laymans terms...yes. It stores all your important data like pics, music, files and so on
But in computer terms...no, memory is something else mate
