this is the story from another mate in relation to this....

I went round to ???? yesterday and we were talking about trucks. He said I wish my truck was on the road to drive around in the snow. I then pointed out you still don’t have the front prop

Fitted so would be a waist of time in 2 wheel drive down the back lanes. (easy get stuck ect).

Then he said I think I may have damaged my truck. Why? Well I couldn’t remember if it had any antifreeze in it so I added some then tried to start it. But even though I have two good batteries

It was turning over too slow. So I though because it’s so cold the engine oil must be frozen? And what did you do next?

I built a fire under the engine to warm it up. Oh dear!!!!!. Well you know that diesel and oil leak I have got. Yes it caught fire. So a dragged out the tin plate with the fire on it and thought ok

That’s done the trick, only to see the left hand side of my engine on fire. Unable to get over to that side my truck. Because it is surrounded with crap.

I had to throw snow at it till I extinguished it.

So did you get it started? No I think I burnt my fuel lines and I don’t know what else. Why didn’t you use you space heater. Well on tv you see them Russians lighting fires all the time under

Motors. Yes but its minus 40/50 and they don’t build a bonfire just a small fire YOU MUPPET !!!!!!!!!

after drinking nearly 2 1/2 ltrs of local wiskey in around 1 hour between 2 of us.....NEVER EVER AGAIN.... i was that bad the wife wanted to phone an ambulance and had never seen me in that state
