Fuel saving costs using accessories

I found this research by Truckman about how accessories like Tonneau covers can increase fuel efficiency of pick ups.

Apparently, the addition of the cover to a pick-up truck increases fuel efficiency by three percent – a saving of around £75 a year based on fuel at fuel at 145p. The truck cover stops wind from being caught inside the open load bed as the vehicle is moving and reduces drag.

With fuel set to go up again in August, its worth considering!
