Hi, I'm thinking of starting a car transportation business. The vehicle I will use will either be the toyota Hilux 2.5 or the 3.0 version. I am currently trying to work out how much the mpg will fall, I was thinking about 50%? If any one has any idea I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi and welcome along Oliver,

With my old 2007 Navara D40 when towing a race car in an enclosed trailer my fuel usage went from 23mpg up to around 17mpg if that's any help.

Different engines will return different results though.
