Is it me.....?

Or did that 563hp 6.2l V8 AMG SLS pacecar actually surprise the F1 cars behind it quite a few times by stomping away out of a few corners in Monaco this afternoon?
It would sometimes jump away through two corners, and go out of sight for the lead cars. Then you'd hear that F1 engine rev to full song until the SLS was back in sight. And I'm not talking about those mini burnouts they sometimes do to warm the rear tires.......

I agree, that thing is quick and caught the drivers napping, what a race also a bit of a parade near the end but still fun with the safety car out every 5 Min's!!
