what is your opinion
hi good day hicube just out of curiosity it a good idea the build a pop up camper just like the one i have seen in the four wheels .com.
do you think that for my world by road project is necessary I was thinking of having all the comfort of a toilet sink a freezer even an oven or grill and a queen size bed. May not be a good idea just for info, can you give me your opinion on this subject. We do not have a specialist here as i have not seen any pop up campers around in Malaysia. I may have to get it built in Europe or the USA.when i reach my destination.

Re: what is your opinion
Not an expert by any means of the imagination but to me a pop-up camper may not be the best for use of space.(ie once folded down you loose alot of space) although once open there's plenty of room. Another thing that would put me off would be having to set up every night and then put down again in the morning.
Here's a couple of links I found of pop-up ones for sale down in NZ.
Pennine Pathfinder 6 berth.
Or an old school one:
Anglo Cub
My prefered option if I was into such things would be a 5th wheeler caravan but not really practical for your journey length wise.
Maybe a better option for you would be a body mounted unit that can be taken off if required, that way it would save costs for transporting (ie ferries, shipping etc) also I would think it would be more economical fuel wise, easier to park and warmer in colder climates over the material bodied pop-up campers.
And here's a link for some more info and pic's of it.
Navara based camper.
Hope this makes sense to you and gives you some food for thought
