Finally got around to fitting it today. I split the flexi pipe and fitted it in the wing with no problems. Will see how i get on with it, Throttle responce seems a bit sharper but its quite loud in the cab of the truck.... almost seems like i have a wind turbine behind the passenger side of the dash.....navara1 wrote:Sound job mate. Will see if i can live with the added noise long term Nice bit of kit tho

Tony get some new flexi pipe not the cheap stuff. There is a plastic panel on clips between the a/c condenser and the engine bay. Unclip the panel and keep safe. Put the flexi hose from the apollo through the hole next to the a/c condenser to the back off the the grill. A lot better power gain and you get a nice sound which you don't here in the cab. But if you drive on the motor way in the rain when it sprays up a big fog like mist from trucks, you need to split the pipe and put in the wing. If not it will starve the air flow and run like a bag of muck. Until it drys out. What I would get is a flexi hose with a joining splice to be able to split and put in the wing on the wet spray days. Normal rain days will not bother the filter only spray from lorrys on the motorway. If this is not clear mate you have my number in which I can clear this mod up for you.
