Nokia N900, Anyone Got One?

Hi all, as above, i had a play with one yesterday and i really liked it, an awesome bit of kit IMO, i was just wondering if any of you had one and your thoughts?

Just had a look at that, Its very similar to the N97 that i wanted, but O2 are not doing that on contract. Will be interesting to see if they do the N900 on contract this time
If they do, I might be tempted as i do like the Nokias

Honestly its like a hand held PC, i loved it, and a 5mp camera, video, apps, a FLASH player, the browsing is miles better than the iphone and its available on o2

My biggest love is that you can run loads of applications at the same time oh and a proper office suite, nice

The camera would sell it to me as thats all thats keeping me away from the iphone at the moment. Rumour has it that a "new" iphone is on the horizon tho with a better camera and flash...... will have to wait and see tho

Yep the the 4th generation!! they've still not sorted the flash and thats a big big, no no IMO!! i'm getting board with the iphone now, even though i love it, its just so restrictive, just like the mac

one of my lads at work has one ... he's never off the fu**ing thing...looks the business though.

mate , i'm a funny creature ... i waited for years for something as user friendly as the iphone ... i'm not interested in anything else now.It's got me tunes , email and web , everything i need ... last year i was on the beach in Greece paying the staff wages ..quality.
If i change i will only be disappointed.

Get you me on the other hand, i change everything for the latest especially if its better

Not sure that these mobiles will ever take off......

So tester Rislar........my contract is up in March and up untill now was thinking about the i phone....mainly because of the apps etc.......so can the n900 do all that stuff etc......not really decided what my needs/ wants are....confused....yet again.....

Well thats the first thing you should consider (what you use it for) I found the N900 to be pretty big with its slide out qwerty key board also!!

If you can tell me that i can suggest the right phone

Nothing really special, just basics......but i like the idea of being able to get to my e-mail messages and to get on here........I am on orange internet....so not sure if i can get my e-mails on that system......and that's about it really......

I like the idea of the slide out keyboard....bit easier to see and use....

Well either work on Orange or rather are available on that network they both can also have email but the nokia web browsing is better as its faster and has a flash player!! the camera is also awesome!!

The iphone has many, many more apps and has an app for everything so for playing around it is better, games are awesome on it and so is the maps!!

I will say if your not really tech savvy, your prob better with the iphone as it just works and its pretty simple to use once you get used to it!!
