Cool, i reckon we just get the fuelpump and use the existing stuff as you say.

I know though when requring more fuel for tuning, i think some of them have different flow rates, get the wrong one and the car will obviosuly run lean, so have to make sure i get the right one :)

Cheers pal, off to bed now i have a carlisle session awaiting me with 10 other lads lol

Hiya Steve,

Thought i'd tell you now...

Missing link - well i bought it then realised the sneaky bas***d is located in the states even though when on ebay i filtered it to UK only. No one else sells them in the UK so hopefully ill get that next week.

2nd thing is, i dont have anytime off work so i can only do s**t at the weekend, so ill have to leave the fuel pump to the weekend.

Sorry if i've inconvienced you about the garage etc just thought i'd let you know asap.

Also its likely we'll need oil and filter?

And i'll pull the spark plugs out as i reckon they will be okay but ill check, i got one stage colder plugs already.

Hiya Steve, managed to get hold of a synapse missing link thing from the UK little bit more expensive buy from the states it can be anything from 10day to 12 days which is what ive experience in the past.

Saying thats if Dave get the kit removed and shipped for this weekend LOL

I will get some oil and filter.

Colder plugs are more resistant to knock and heat but probably not 100% necessary as you say but a wee bit safer.

When's best for you to help fit a sunday or saturday or something?, if it effects you social life etc we can always wait its cool buddy.

But i am pissing my pants with excitiment lol

Great start to the weekend for me...

Dealer has sent me:

The entire fuel pump enclosure! (even though i didnt ask for this) and no fuel filter, i only got the fuel gasket.

I'm
hoping that there's nothing wrong with the existing fuel filter as i
dont want to do this again, whats the chances of it being okay?

Turns out the enclosure is the fuel filter as i expected, people on S2k didnt believe this.

I spoke to Honda nad looked at units in camskill today, so the sock is just for debris.

The fuel filter is a servicable item that should be replaced a few times in the cars life, sock you need not bother really.

Fuel pump in and working, dont want to do this again in hurry.

Had to remove sender for level etc and transfer onto new enclosure, the parcel shelf really did my tits in, its still not 100%.

Wideband put in but accidently pulled out one wire from connector should be easy to sort out once i have some more time, AEM works nicely though occasionally loses readings due to that one wire wigglin about.

Apart from that systems go... AJ's charger Project! - Page 2 Icon_biggrin

Snapped most of them too Steve, looks like its been off before when the guy fitted a new roof a year or two back and it was fitted properly by him either lol.

Dave has the pulley taken off and he'll be shipping sometime next week it should be well before the weekend.

Bump Very Happy

Steve, the pdf zip you sent me didnt have the instructions for aftercooler but its cool as i have sourced the installation guide.

I was having a quick look, I'm sure my air pump doesnt come (throws a CEL) on all the time but has power to it, when i've had a look at it in the past simply tapping it made it work.

If it doesnt come on is it a problem? as the water pump sits near here?

Cheers

Cool.

I know what the airpump is for, it only comes on when the cars cold for emissions+CAT warm up, it doesnt engage on my car. But TBH i dont run at CAT Very Happy so its useless really.

Looking forward to it, should be fun.

Do you want me to bring any tools or anything you can think of it, i have a soldering iron.

Have you got any electrical wire for the aftercooler pump - i dont have any but could get some.

Cheers

P.s i wont forget the pies haahah
