Re: lost key
I would assume that you would need to go to the dealer with your log book so that they could get a duplicate key, if they keep records that is

Re: lost key
key update, got the key from ebay, phoned a mobile key code bloke, you won't be able to code that key off ebay they don't work says he , how much is it if you could do it £90, then he says is the key a real nissan one, yes says i, ok i'll come and try, email me a copy of you log book, so i can get the numbers, so i email the log book, then he says if it don't work i still need paying, ok i say, when you coming give me your mobile no and i'll ring you tomorrow and tell you what time i'll come, i'm still waiting for his call, and that was last friday, so on the phone to nissan ask how much to code the key, where did you get the key from they ask , so i told them a porky and said it came with the navara when i bought it, 1/2 hour labour plus vat £49 ok when can you do it , tomorrow they said first thing, righty ho, had it done paid them got home the key won't turn in ignition, so its back for a new key to be cut. dennis

Re: lost key
Holy sh**e thats shocking, so still no luck again!!! i feel sorry for you buddy, i think i'll keep my spare very safe!!!
Re: lost key
So who cut the key? was it Nissan or did you have it cut before you went there to get it programed
I would have thought after coding the key they would have checked it in the ignition to make sure it turns off the immobiliser. If so they should have picked up on it not working then
