New Car for the Wife!
Hi all, i've been out today looking for a new car for the wife! she really likes the Ford Fiesta as she already has the last model, but i'm not sure, especially as they are £12k for the ztec the APR is 4.9% over 2 years which isn't bad but i believe that i could get a better deal on that or another manufacturer!
What do you guys think?

Ha ha well i'll try, i was wondering if any of you guys had bought a new car and what APR it was
Re: New Car for the Wife!
our lass got a new festa last april and is chuffed with it still but she paid 4 it outa her own cash ? thats the way forward mate ! personally i would never buy a new car if had to get finance on it as the 1st 2 grand is lost as u drive it off the 4court meaning u lost at least 3 grand by buying a new 1 on finance go 2nd hand every time then u know the previous has spent cash on all the faults which occured in the 1st 2 yrs

Re: New Car for the Wife!
Don't forget if you go for the car.......work on the % rate if you can......i have done it loads of times........it goes something like this.......the other half is really interested and plays up to the sales staff.....taking in all their bluff.......whilst you on the otherhand play it cool.......your'e only there to buy a car for the Mrs.......and just keep saying i will do it but i am not paying 4.9%......make it 2.5% and it's a deal.......
Then just sit back whilst they go and see the manager/ess and see what happens.....i have always got the rate down......everytime........but if you don't you haven't lost anything.........it all depends when they have to pay the manufactuer for their stock.......sometimes the deals are there....sometimes not.....good luck ....hope you get a deal....
