Pot Holes Empty Pot Holes

Post by Liam Thu Jan 07, 2010 11:29 am

When you drive roads day in day out you get used to there querks and you know how to drive it to avoid pot holes etc. However i got caught out in a big way today on a road that i drive on all the time and every day of the week. Just driving down the road i heard an almighty bang and me bottle of coke (other brands available Pot Holes Icon_tongue ) went flying. Looking in my mirror i realised i had navigated my way through a pot hole that resembled a small pond Pot Holes Icon_eek Not so much a problem for me but for those with 22" rims it could pose a bit more of a problem, just keep an eye out lads Pot Holes 246505

I know what you mean mate, around here we have loads of pot holes like that.
On a couple of fast dual carraigeways near me, the tarmac has sunk slightly in places which makes a great take off ramp at about 70 mph !!.
I have seen a few people caught out on these........ the sparks and the look of fear in their faces affraid is not good. The council wont do anything untill someone gets hurt tho Suspect
