Touching distance then mate i was talking to the lasses Gran and she reckons that Workington never gets snow due to your location and surrounding features The drive in took me completely by suprise though Rislar driving along by the river there is gear (not light either) that has been carried left miles away in the middle of fields

Oh yes we had a mad time of it here, its a right bloody state!! you wouldn't believe what water can do!!!

We've had a shed load of snow mind not in the town but a mile out

It came as quite a shock mate, the tele doesnt come close. Don't know if you know of it but they live near The Royal George Inn and they didn't get a flake apparently

Oh yes, but im more likely to be found tearing up a field than the roads

I do road miles in mine but the 22"s are very quite and give a nice ride
