Re: JPMC's Nav
Thank guy's.
I get a few comments on the number plate.
It's what I do for a living.
I run a business installing and serving automatic greasing (lubrication) systems on to trucks, earthmoving equipment and fixed plant throughout the South Island of New Zealand, 151,215sq km (or 58,384sq miles) territory and I'm the only one so it normally keeps me busy although has been a bit quite last month or so.

Re: JPMC's Nav
Excellent, thats some work and some mile you must drive !! i see you use normal road tyres, dont you get stuck
Re: JPMC's Nav
Yeah it's a lot of ground to cover. My best effort was 10,000km's in 28 days but I normally try to string together a few jobs in the one area so I don't have to travel to much and average around 3,500km a month.
My tyres are Bridgestone Dueler A/T. Which are a combination tyre because about 70% of my driving is on road. I haven't managed to get stuck yet and only had to use 4L once when I was in very sloshy mud up to the bumper other than that the tyres just seem to grip really well and although they are nearly out of there offroad tread at present and looking more like road tyres I done just over 50,000km on them which I think is pretty good considering I drive hard and play harder.
The night that pic was taken next to the loader I managed to put a hole in my sump while venturing around in the dark and didn't realise until the next day when I got out of bed to see a puddle underneath.
Have to say the hole idea of having the sump at the same height as the front cross member is a bit stupid if ya ask me. Why not make it even 20 or 30mm's higher to stop this happening.
New sump cost me $700NZ (315 pounds) so I'm a bit more careful now-days.

Re: JPMC's Nav
Now thats some mileage!! so the Nav has been up to the job, well at least it looks that way from here! i'm not a fan of the Duelers as i didn't much care for them off road, but hey you are getting some use it must be me
I've always said the Nav could do with being a little higher also, i've been looking a body lift kits for that very reason, whether or not that will change much remains to be seen!!

Re: JPMC's Nav
Dirty ???
That's nothing compared to sum places.
It makes it interesting taking it in for a service cause even though the outside is clean the underneath is normally covered (I do try to clean but can't get into all the gaps). When I had to get the new torque converter put in the poor mechanic from Nissan had his work cut out for him just getting rid of the mud and when he was finshed he had a pile of mud on the floor about two foot round and half a foot high.
Off road?
My trucks never been off road Mr Nissan
Especially in a mine, as that voids warranties and I wouldn't want that
Just gravel roads sir
