ObdII code reader/reset... Empty ObdII code reader/reset...

Post by navara1 Sun Jan 03, 2010 8:02 am

.
ObdII code readers,I have just got a new scan gauge II unit and up to press it has let me down, unlike the last one I had.
It reads all error codes but it came with the leads to fit merc and bmw which I have. goodjob .Not all areas are suported
on the nav but what is suits my needs and clears EML's and error codes.I had a PLX DM200 60mm ledgauge which was three
times the money a little fancy gauge. This did the same but only gave me 10 mins of play time then stopped working.I did send it back
and had it swapped and the same happened again,it was time to get a refund and replaced it with the scan gauge II which is far simple
to use.I used it today as i got a code for disconnecting the air meter when the engine was running not very wise.Because when you have
the engine running and you take the plug off then put it on,it only remembers the tick over setup. The truck runs very poor until you stop
and restart the motor.

Rislar when I next go out I will note down all what it reads on the nav.The best thing it will work on any motor these days.Just nav only supports half of whats on offer. You need the consult III which is what nissan use to support fully.Yes the scan gauge will run live data so yes it is plugged in all the time. grin
